How can I place an order?
You can place an order by adding the desired product to your cart and then proceeding to checkout. Enter your details, choose your payment method, and confirm your order. Once your payment is received, you'll receive a confirmation email with your order details.

What are the shipping costs?
Shipping costs within the Netherlands are €3.95 and are shipped with PostNL. Orders over €49 are delivered free of charge.

How can I track my order?
Once your order has shipped, you'll receive a shipping confirmation with a tracking number you can use to track your order. You can use this number to check the status of your package via the PostNL website.
Can I change or cancel my order?
If you want to change or cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible at info@chocolateriesteenvoorden.nl. Please note that we usually process and ship orders quickly, so changes can't always be made after the order has been placed.
Why didn't I receive a confirmation email?
If you haven't received a confirmation email, please check your spam folder first. If you can't find it there either, please contact us at info@chocolateriesteenvoorden.nl so we can verify your order and send you a new confirmation.
Exchanges and returns
Can I return my order?
Because we sell chocolates made with fresh ingredients and without preservatives, they may spoil more quickly. Therefore, we unfortunately cannot accept returns. If your order is damaged or doesn't meet your expectations, please contact us within 14 days for a suitable solution.
What should I do if my chocolate arrived damaged?
Although we carefully package our orders, products may be damaged during transport. If you receive damaged products, please contact us within 14 days at info@chocolateriesteenvoorden.nl. Please include a photo of the damaged products so we can assist you quickly.

What kind of chocolate do you use?
At Chocolaterie Steenvoorden, we use Callebaut chocolate, a globally recognized brand known for its high quality and artisanal production. Callebaut chocolate is made from fair-trade cocoa and produced with respect for sustainability and ethical trade.
Are the products suitable for people with allergies?
Our chocolate products may contain traces of nuts, milk, gluten, and other allergens. If you have a food allergy, always consult the product description on our website or contact us for more information about the ingredients.
How long do the chocolates and truffles last after receipt?
Our chocolates and truffles are made with fresh ingredients, which limits their shelf life:
- Chocolates will keep for 2 weeks after receipt if stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.
- Truffles are good for 1 week after receipt. Store them in the refrigerator to maintain quality and freshness.
We advise you to consume your chocolate as soon as possible for the best taste and experience.

Our handmade chocolate is best when stored in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and strong-smelling products. It's recommended not to store chocolate in the refrigerator, as this can affect its texture and flavor.
