General Terms and Conditions of Chocolaterie Steenvoorden
These terms and conditions apply to all orders and purchases placed through the Chocolaterie Steenvoorden website or our online store. By placing an order, the customer agrees to these terms and conditions.
1. Applicability
1.1 These general terms and conditions apply to all products sold through our webshop.
1.2 By placing an order with Chocolaterie Steenvoorden, the customer agrees to these general terms and conditions.
2. Order and Agreement
2.1 An order is placed when the customer has successfully completed the ordering process in our webshop and has made the payment.
2.2 We reserve the right to refuse an order, for example in the event of payment problems or if products are temporarily out of stock.
3. Price and Payment
3.1 All prices on the website include VAT, unless stated otherwise.
3.2 Payment must be made in advance using the available payment methods (for example iDEAL and credit card).
4. Delivery
4.1 We aim to dispatch orders within 1 to 2 working days of receipt of payment.
4.2 Delivery will take place at the address provided by the customer when placing the order.
4.3 Shipping costs are clearly displayed during the ordering process.
5. Right of withdrawal and returns
5.1 Due to the nature of our products, namely handmade chocolate and bonbons, returns are not possible.
5.2 Under the Distance Selling Act, we are not obliged to accept returns for perishable goods, such as chocolate, which quickly lose their quality.
5.3 We do not accept returns unless the product is defective or damaged upon receipt. In that case, you can contact us within 14 days of receiving your order for a solution.
5.4 Upon receipt of damaged products, the customer must contact us immediately at info@chocolateriesteenvoorden.nl and provide photos of the damage.
6. Complaints and Disputes
6.1 If you have a complaint about a product or order, please contact us at info@chocolateriesteenvoorden.nl. We aim to handle complaints within 1 to 2 business days.
6.2 Disputes arising from an agreement with Chocolaterie Steenvoorden can be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
6.3 If a dispute cannot be resolved, you can turn to the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) portal: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/main/?event=main.consumer.rights
7. Liability
7.1 We are not liable for any damage resulting from the use of our products, unless such damage is the result of intent or gross negligence on our part.
7.2 We make every effort to package and ship the products correctly and safely. If the products are damaged during transport, we cannot be held liable unless the customer reports this within the specified timeframe.
8. Privacy
8.1 We process customer personal data in accordance with privacy legislation. See our Privacy Statement for more information about how we handle personal data.
9. Changes to the General Terms and Conditions
9.1 Chocolaterie Steenvoorden reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. The amended terms and conditions will be published on the website and will apply from the moment of publication.
